Job Information
As a general laborer, you are responsible for providing both physical and general labor to the excavation crews.  This is physical work requiring long days outside in the elements.  May be willing to train.  The individual(s) in this position is required to work at all times with safety in mind. Must be able to read, understand, and follow company policies and procedures related to safety, attend all scheduled safety meetings. Basic math skills are necessary. Also, must possess a VALID Utah drivers’ license (Class A preferred), be insured and insurable by Americom. Americom is a licensed State contractor; ALL employees must be able to pass a Level 4 background check.
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements that you must meet in order to perform laborer duties are as follows: The ability to climb up and down ladders, scaffoldings, and lifts, must be able to lift 80 lbs. from floor and above head. Should have general knowledge and ability to identify and use basic hand tools, ability to work in ALL weather conditions; this includes extreme temperatures ranging from -30° to +120°. In addition, at times, you may be required to work in trenches, manholes, tunnels, closets, and crawl spaces.
