GENERAL LABORER

We design and build customized data centers, call centers and operations centers to be reliable, secure, and available for maintenance. Job Details:

  • Work in all types of adverse weather and confined areas
  • Operate various hand tools and power tools
  • Perform a variety of physical labor activities
  • Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have physical stamina sufficient to perform construction type work such as: lifting and carrying approximately 100 pounds, bending, stooping, pulling, climbing in and around construction equipment, up and down ladders and in and out of ditches.
  • Follow direction, written or verbal, from supervisors
  • Basic math
  • Ability to work long hours
  • Operate and care for construction equipment and materials.
  • Assist other skilled labor when necessary
  • Prep for construction sites as requested; load or unload construction materials
  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary
  • Perform site clean-up
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass drug test anytime as requested by employer
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable
  • Must be able and willing to travel out of town when required
  • Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • An ability to motivate and work in a team environment
  • Must have a desire to learn and grow in a career
  • Related Experience is a plus

We offer competitive compensation and a robust benefit program, including medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability. Americom will pay for a portion of some benefits and pay in full for a $25,000 life insurance policy, long-term disability, holiday pay (6 days), and PTO. New employees are eligible for benefit enrollment 1st of month following 60 days with holiday pay, PTO and 401k eligibility the 1st of the month following 90 days.
