BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
SALES & MARKETING
FIBER & UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE
Crestone Services Group is a leading infrastructure-services company in the western United States, specializing in telecommunications, power, and other utility infrastructure construction and maintenance. The organization comprises six operating brands across multiple geographic markets, offering construction, engineering, permitting, restoration and maintenance services. Crestone brings scale, safety, and operational excellence to its clients.
JOB SUMMARY
The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for driving revenue growth by winning new construction service contracts within the utility, broadband, data center, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors. This is a relationship-driven, service-based sales role centered on prospecting, pursuing, and closing new business — it is not a retail or product sales position, and it is not a Project Management role. Awarded work is transitioned to Crestone's Project Management team, who own execution, delivery, and job profitability.
In addition to core business development duties, this role carries a secondary marketing function: supporting brand visibility, lead generation, and go-to-market efforts that directly feed the sales pipeline. The ideal candidate is first and foremost a proven hunter of new business in the construction, utility, or telecom space, who also brings the ability to support light marketing and content efforts that strengthen the sales process.

Marketing Support Responsibilities (Secondary Focus)

- Contribute to sales-facing content such as project spotlights, before/after visuals, and industry insights used in proposals and pursuits.
- Use social media as a relationship-building and lead-generation tool, engaging directly with prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Support the development of case studies, sales collateral, and proposal materials that reinforce active sales pursuits.
